Snow

It snowed so beautifully last night. When I got up everything was white.
I had a nice walk to my office and back.
In the evening I had another walk in the fresh winter air. I felt so well !
That is why I have been so productive and managed a lot of improvements on the blog.
I am happy!

TOEIC Courses

Tomorrow I will meet the first TOEIC students.
I do not know many things about them.
I assume they will be 5.
I have planned the class to be something very special.
I am sure they will be delighted or maybe confused, as people are not accustomed to the communicative approach .
We will begin with short introductons.
Then I will give some technical instruction about the course.
They will have to fill in a background questionnaire.
The general overview of TOEIC will be in PowerPoint. I am quite sure it will be the first PP in their life.
Afterwards we will pass to some listening practice exercises.
They will have to circle the right answers on grids.
I have prepared leaflets, handouts, slides and I will buy a new CD-player tomorrow morning .
I am looking forward to this new teaching experience.

Tehnici de lucru pe blog

In ultimele zile am aprofundat tehnica de lucru cu ajutorul Templates.
Am reusit, imitand-o pe Gabriela, sa introduc linkuri, acolo unde am dorit.
Pentru un incepator in ale tehnicii de construire a site-urilor, e o mare performanta.

Ce am remarcat in aceste zile:

1. Urasc mesajele lungi. Sa stiti ca nu vi le citesc daca sunt lungi.
2. Nu stiu sa corectez textele pe care le pun in comentarii. Comentariul intial se deschide. Dar cele care apar dupa, nu se mai deschid. I-am raspuns Gabrielei, la o observatie pe care mi-a facut-o. Din 5 cuvinte trei erau cu literele inversate. Puteam sterge tot . In afara de comentariul initial. Dar pierdeam comentariile celorlalti si ar fi fost neplacut.
3. Simt ca ultima lectie la care ne-a invitat Gabriela, si pe care am vazut-o aseara(dimineata) , desi ea crede ca nu citim tot ce scrie pentru noi, mi se pare ca incepe sa ma depaseasca . Se intra in tehnica serioasa. Voi incerca sa tin pasul. Dar nu stiu daca voi reusi.
4. Ma opresc inainte de a ma contrazice. Se spune ca "Ce tie nu-ti place, altuia nu-i face!".
